The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources will offer multiple ways to earn Hunter Education to help protect Kentuckians and state employees from COVID-19. To accommodate those who still need their hunter education certificate before hunting in Kentucky, the department has made it possible to earn the Hunter Education certification by taking the "classroom" portion online and submitting a video of the "range" portion. In addition, we are offering instructor led classes and in person range days. We are also offering the temporary hunter education exemption permit. It is available online for free (for a limited time).
