The National Hunting and Fishing Day program will provide opportunities for families to participate in fishing activities like on-water fishing with the PFBC staff, including our Waterway Conservation Officers (WCO). Our WCOs will not only be assisting with fishing and other instruction during the program, but will also be available during the day to answer regulation, safety, or fishing questions.

Families will also be introduced to conservation by building fish habitat structures for the lake with PFBC’s Division of Lake Habitat staff. Participants will also be able to test their archery skills with an archery course provided by the 4-H Youth Development Program (this station is for participants ages 12 and up).

DCNR and PA Game Commission will introduce participants to the importance of Blue Birds and help you build or provide you with your very own Blue Bird box to take home!
