The Missouri Hunter Ed Classroom is one option to complete the knowledge portion of the hunter ed certification process. Students must be 11 & older to attend.

STOP The Classroom Session DOES NOT complete the requirements for hunter education. Please be sure to register in a Skills Session to test.

How do I prepare?

Students are recommended to go to our Online Hunter Education Course to pre-study and take the reviews and practice tests for free before attending.

How long is the session?

A typical Missouri Hunter Education Classroom Session Option lasts 4 hours.

Do I need to bring anything?

Students under 16 need to bring proof of age, birth certificate, photo id with date of birth, etc.

About Registration

  • Registration for any class must be completed at least seven (7) days prior to the class start date.
  • No registrations will be taken after the seven-day cutoff or if the class becomes full.

The fast paced Missouri Hunter Education Classroom Session Option is recommended for motivated students age 14 years of age and older with good reading and comprehension skills who have some firearm and hunting knowledge or experience. However, students 11 years of age and older may attend this knowledge session option prior to attending their Skills Session for Hunter Education Certification. Study materials used are on the 14-year-old age level.Study materials and tests used are on the 14 age level and students are recommended to go to our Online Hunter Education Course and pre-study, take the reviews and practice tests for free before attending.
