    Overview

    The Missouri Hunter Education Skills Session is the second half of the hunter education certification process after completing one of the knowledge based options. Students must be 11 years of age & older to attend this session.

    How long is the skills session?

    A typical Missouri Hunter Education Skills Session lasts four (4) hours, including exam time.

    Do I need to bring anything?

    All attendees must bring one of the following or will be turned away from the session:

    • Skills Session Qualifier Certificate from the online course or;
    • Student manual with all chapter review questions answered or;
    • Skills Session Qualifier Certificate from the Hunter Education Classroom Session

    About Registration

    • Registration for any class must be completed at least seven (7) days prior to the class start date.
    • No registrations will be taken after the seven (7) day cut-off or if the class becomes full.
    • Students 16 years of age and younger must bring a birth certificate or other proof of age to the course.

  • Hunter Education Classroom Session Option


    Overview

    The Missouri Hunter Ed Classroom is one option to complete the knowledge portion of the hunter ed certification process.

    STOP The Classroom Session DOES NOT complete the requirements for hunter education. Be sure to register in a Skills Session to be certified.

    How do I prepare?

    Students are recommended to go to our Online Hunter Education Course to pre-study and take the reviews and practice tests for free before attending.

    How long is the session?

    A typical Missouri Hunter Education Classroom Session Option lasts 4 hours.

    Do I need to bring anything?

    Students under 16 need to bring proof of age, birth certificate, photo id with date of birth, etc.

    The Missouri Bowhunter Education Classroom Course is for students 11 years of age and older.
