    The Missouri Bowhunter Education Classroom Course is recommended for motivated students 14 years of age and older with good reading and comprehension skills who have some archery and hunting knowledge or experience. However, students 11 years of age and older may be tested and certified in this course. Study materials and tests used are on the 14-year-old age level.

    How long is the course?

    A typical Missouri Bowhunter Education Classroom Course lasts 10-12 hours, including exam time.

    About Registration

    • Registration for any class must be completed at least seven (7) days prior to the class start date.
    • No registrations will be taken after the seven-day cutoff or if the class becomes full.

    The Missouri Hunter Education Internet Course Field Day is second half of the hunter education certification process, started online at Hunter Ed

    How long can I wait between the online test and the field day?

    • The online certificate is good for one year.
    • If you do not attend a field day within that year, you will have to retake the online course and final test again or attend the traditional 10-hour course.

    Don't Forget:

    • Students 15 years of age and younger must bring a birth certificate or other proof of age to the course.
